Prof. Tom Regan's "The philosophy of animal rights" BOOKLET: languages

Over the years and decades, Tom Regan's booklet The philosophy of animal rights has been translated into several languages. But there doesn't seem to be a list of these publications or which languages it has been translated into.

Presumably, some of the translations were also "just" distributed as photocopied booklets with no ISBN number or other formal record of these existing.

Below is a list of the ones I know of:

• English: the original version "The philosophy of animal rights" (1989 [?]) [PDF]

• French: "La philosophie des droits des animaux" (1991) [PDF]

• Slovenian: "Pravice živali : filozofske postavke" (1999 [?]) 

• German: "Der Grundgedanke der Tierrechte" (2003) [only the first half of the boolet (?)]

• Bengali (Bangla) "প্রাণী-অধিকার দর্শন" (2018) [PDF]

• German: "Tom Regan: Die Philosophie der Tierrechte" (2025) [print version on Amazon] [free online version] [alternative link]

• Swahili: "Msimamo wa Haki za Wanyama" (2026) [free online version]
