Emerica vegan 2025 (collection)

Updated 3 December 2025

There supposedly is a vegan colourway of the new Emerica "OG-1" (Marc Johnson model lookalike) - but I don't know which colourway. Maybe it isn't on the Emerica website yet.

May 2025

I saw these two vegan Emerica shoes on the Switch and Signal website. I had not come across them before, I think, and I don't know what year they are from. Switch and Signal is a skate park and skate shop in Pennsylvania, USA, run by (I think) Kerry who used to do veganskateblog.com. Switch and Signal only sell vegan shoes - so if you're in the US, definitely try to buy from them!!!

Emerica "Cadence" [grey - not sure what the colourway is called exactly]

Emerica "Heritic" [black/tan]

Emerica "Heritic" [brown/black] [not vegan]

If you do a search on the Emerica website (as of August 2025), the Emerica "Heritic" colourway "brown black" also shows. But I'm guessing this is a mistake. In the description, it does not says vegan, synthetic, or animal-friendly, and the photo looks like it's probably animal-source suede (you cannot really tell from the photo). Proceed with caution - don't buy animal-source leather.

Wino G6 Slip-on black [not vegan??]

I saw this shoe listed as vegan in a German skate shop (online) - and it was previously listed as vegan on the Emerica website (in 2022/2023, see here and here) - as of November/December 2025, the Emerica website says it's not vegan, u.e., made of animal-source suede: "Suede Upper: The main panels are suede". This might be because the Emerica website is wrong and/or uses a generic description for all colourways or because they have changed the material. The Emerica website looks quite cheap nowadays, like they do not put any effort into it (unlike the Etnies and éS websites).

OG-1 grey light grey [not vegan - no colourways are vegan]

I saw this shoe listed as vegan in a German skate shop (online), but the Emerica website says it's not vegan (made of animal-source suede).
