Abstracts (and attendees) wanted for animal ethics conference (UNISA)

The animal ethics conference (online!) "Humans and Other Animals: Rattling the Paradigm" organized by the University of South Africa (UNISA) is offering the opportunity to submit abstracts (150 to 250 words).

Deadline for speakers

  • Abstract submission by 31 July 2024

  • Presenters will actually get paid! 80 US dollars per person.

Who is allowed to submit an abstract?

  • "Undergraduate [BSc] and graduate [MSc / PhD] students who are currently enrolled at a college or university anywhere in the world"
  • "Young activists and early career artists and performers from outside the university space whose work is on animal ethics and the environment"
"Members of underrepresented groups and students, activists, artists, and performers from the Global South are particularly encouraged to submit abstracts."
