Nice! Let's question the way we see all nonhuman animals as our property. All animals who can feel need basic legal rights. Individuals who have rights can never be considered "pests" or "pets". This is a classic misunderstanding that all advocates for animals love animals and therefore want all animals to be pets. But pets are captive animals, bred and inbred by humans, who are kept for entertainment like toys and as property, as slaves.
